Dr. Abdul Salam is one Coimbatore’s leading ortho specialist. His passion for orthopedics started with his entry into Medicine into MMC (Madras Medical College).He then passed out with multiple distinctions in orthopedics from KMC (Kilpauk Medical College).

His special interest in trauma care and Sports Medicine took him to the UK where completed his surgical training in Joint replacement surgery and Sports medicine at the prestigious University of United Kindom.

He completed his MRCS (Member of Royal College of Surgeons) from Edinburgh.He then went to the USA and completed further specialty training in Orthopaedic Trauma surgery and Limb Lengthening and reconstruction surgery.Dr. Salam has been trained by some of the top authorities in orthopaedics around the globe.

In the USA, Dr Salam worked with Dr. Seligson and Dr. Roberts who are pioneers and well respected in trauma surgery.He was also trained by Dr.Dror Paley and Dr.John Herzenberg who are world famous surgeon in Limb lengthening and reconstruction.
